THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE AT ESCUELA AMERICA

The Escuela Americana of El Salvador seeks to enroll girls and boys of high academic promise and good character who will contribute to and benefit from the opportunities available in our school.

The admission procedure includes:

A. 

Each parent /guardian must submit the following documents to the Admission Office.

1. Application form filled out completely.
2. Birth Certificate: An original copy for Salvadorean students; a photocopy of    the original for non-Salvadorean students.
3. Previous academic official records up to 3 years, if applicable.
4. Two letters of recommendation from teachers, if applicable.
5. Previous discipline record, if applicable.
6. Certificate of good health
7. Audio-Visual Exam results
8. Vaccination record
9. Psychometric and / or speech evaluation, if any.
10. Standardized test results, if any.
11. One recent picture ID size.
12. $ 40.00 application fee.
13. Non-Salvadorean parents must submit a photocopy of their passports or of their Salvadorean residency card.

Observation and interview of applicant by the respective division Director and/or counselor. 

The decisions of the Admission Committee are based upon the documents, aptitude and achievement testing, observation and interview of applicant.
NOTE: Each family must provide all the above mentioned documents - A1 through A12 - accurately and completely; otherwise , the child even after enrollment will be liable for permanent dismissal from the Escuela Americana.
