EA receives accreditation from NEASC

Escuela Americana has received accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).  It is vital for private schools to be accredited by organizations that support the learning, growth, and development of institutions around the world.

NEASC is an independent, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization that connects and serves over 1500 public, independent, and international schools in the US and worldwide. Founded in 1885, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) has been working to establish and maintain high standards for all levels of education longer than any other accreditation agency in the United States. NEASC is made up of three Commissions which work in close partnership to ensure quality education for all students.

The NEASC team visited EA virtually in early September and they were able to speak with students, teachers, staff, board members, school leadership, and parents.  They visited our classrooms within our Brightspace learning platform, took a virtual tour of the campus, reviewed our policies and safety protocols as well as spending the time to learn about EA’s rich and strong history.  They shared with us that the week was amazing and that they appreciated talking with all the constituents especially the students.

NEASC suggests that we continue to work to maintain a strong financial foundation and continue to build our methodologies with teachers as they learn new teaching techniques and skills.  As we create and develop EA’s “North Star” for teaching and learning we continue to share all the accomplishments with families and the greater EA community.

Our community celebrates this accomplishment and we acknowledge all the hard work and dedication of the entire teaching faculty and staff of EA.
