We are committed to educating the whole child – which is a holistic approach that includes not only academic performance but also social-emotional health and well-being. As part of our new five-year strategic plan, we’ve included an increased focus on social-emotional programming recognizing the critical task we have of preparing our students to be successful global citizens.
This balance is maintained within a framework which recognizes both the school’s bilingual, bicultural nature immersed in the Salvadoran community and a commitment to the school’s core values of personal integrity, leadership, scholarship, tolerance, and service.
At Escuela Americana we are committed to offering our students a “world-class education”, where students engage in authentic learning experiences. This system actively engages students in their own learning and does not have them sit passively in classrooms, waiting for the content to be delivered to them. Our biggest job is to create such an environment that allows each one of our students to discover their unique potential and is able to THRIVE.
