Pre-Kinder Admission

Our Pre-Kinder program is offered to children who turn 4 years of age by August 1st
(born between August 2, 2013 - August 1, 2014)

The Admissions process begins in the Fall.

The early childhood years (3 – 5) are a special period in the lives of young children.  During this time, they begin to trust people outside their families. They gain   independence and self-control and they learn to take initiative and assert themselves in socially acceptable ways. They become keen observers who experiment to find out what happens when they interact with other people and manipulate materials. Their language skills surpass the limited vocabulary and sentence structure of toddlers.

A firm foundation for future success: Escuela Americana’s Pre-Kinder program is developmentally appropriate and rich in the elements of structure and play. Our goal is to build a firm foundation for future success in school. Our program reflects care and attention to the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of your child as well as preparation for the more formal elements of schooling. We offer a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, and our curriculum includes reading readiness, art, music, library, physical education, math, science, and social awareness.

Development of core pre-academic areas: EA’s Pre-K program aids children to develop skills in core pre-academic areas such as literacy, math, and science, as well as in other critical areas such as art, social and emotional well-being, health and wellness. Our child-centered approach ensures that children are exposed to a variety of learning activities and that they will blossom in all areas of child development, creative thinking, complex problem solving, empathetic collaboration, curious investigation, and decision making.
