We prioritize hands-on learning in our STEAM, Dance, Art, Music, PE, and Library classes to cultivate essential skills such as problem-solving, creativity, communication, and collaboration. By integrating structured activities and unstructured play, we ensure a well-rounded educational experience that prepares children for future academic and life success.
PE
Movement experiences in our Elementary program take diverse forms, including structured PE classes, integrated movement opportunities within other curricular areas, and unstructured play during recess.
Our curriculum supports and develops advanced movement concepts such as coordination, agility, and strategic skills through our state-of-the-art facilities. Students also engage in various sports activities, emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork.
STEAM
In our STEAM classes, students engage in hands-on experiences that encourage them to discover, explore, and invent. Through exposure to various materials, technology integration, and collaborative projects, students develop problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills essential for their academic journey and future careers. Our program includes coding, robotics, and other technological tools to prepare students for the digital age.
DANCE
The Dance Studio offers a safe and engaging space for students to express themselves through movement. Dance combinations enhance memory and develop crucial learning skills such as balance, creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. Connecting with music and movement not only fosters physical fitness but also promotes emotional well-being.
ART
In Art class, students explore different design processes and learn to appreciate various art forms using a wide range of media, including wood, clay, textiles, paint, and recycled materials. They delve into artistic concepts like color theory, world art, and cultural knowledge, allowing them to understand and appreciate the diversity of artistic expressions.
MUSIC AND BAND
During Music class, students experiment with musical instruments and concepts of rhythm, pattern, and expression. They explore musical elements such as pitch, volume, and timbre in a fun and engaging environment. Upper elementary students have Band Classes, enhancing their musical skills and experience through ensemble performance.
LIBRARY
In Library class, students immerse themselves in a language-rich environment that builds on the foundation of literacy. Through engagement with books, stories, and writing activities, we foster a love for reading and writing, helping students to view themselves as effective communicators and avid readers.
