LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
OUR STUDENTS ARE LEADERS IN THE MAKING
We seek to foster and strengthen leadership skills in young leaders.
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Middle School and High School students at EA can develop their leadership skills through a variety of initiatives, including Student Government, National Honor Society (NHS), National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), and the RICK Leaders Club.
The National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) recognize students who embody the core values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character, while encouraging them to remain actively engaged in both school and community life.
The RICK Leaders Club—centered around our core values of Responsibility, Integrity, Courage, and Kindness—empowers students to serve their community, build strong leadership foundations, and put these values into action. From standing up for what’s right to supporting their peers, RICK Leaders help shape a more inclusive and compassionate school culture.
We are proud to nurture students who lead with vision, compassion, and purpose — for a whole life.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY (NHS)
The NHS elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
As such, NHS chapters and students are in schools that care not only about student achievement, but also community engagement.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Seniors have the opportunity to participate in the Internship Program.
The program is an excellent opportunity to intern at a business of their choice for three weeks at the end of the senior year. Students are able to consider potential venues of interest as well as potential employers.
